This year, the Day of the Romanian Gendarmerie was marked in Vaslui by organizing workshops to present the materials and equipment.
The start was given yesterday in Bârlad, and today the Vaslui gendarmes were stormed by children and parents in the Copou Park, eager to take pictures with the weapon in hand or the intervention vests. The bravest also tried the acoustic warning systems on the gendarmerie special vehicles, wishing them, at the same time, through the transmission-reception stations, the traditional “Happy birthday, Romanian Gendarmerie!”.
Also on this occasion, the participants received the “Gendarme for a Day” ID card.
At the same time, those interested in the educational offer of military educational institutions had at their disposal specialists from human resources who provided them with the necessary information for those who wish to pursue a military career.
“I wanted to spend a few minutes with the gendarmes, who on the anniversary watch gave the people of Vaslui the opportunity to find out what work in the Gendarmerie entails, what are the steps to follow to embrace such a career. In order to understand the role of the gendarmes in the community, you must first know and recognize the traditions of the weapon, but above all know the people, the gendarmes, who, through the missions they carry out every day, give confidence and security to everyone. Happy birthday to the Romanian Gendarmerie, happy birthday to the Vaslui gendarmes”, said Ciprian-Ionuț Trifan, vice president of the Vaslui County Council.
The activities, which will continue tomorrow in Huși, are organized in the context of “Romanian Gendarmerie Day”, celebrated every year on April 3.
