Terrible accident in Olt: a 20-year-old man died after his car collided with a truck
From the first information, the tragic road event happened before 10:00. On National Road 65 – European 574, in the Slătioara commune area, a car collided with a TIR.
The impact was extremely violent and the driver of the car lost his life. Due to this accident, traffic was blocked in both directions. Several rescue crews, as well as traffic police crews, intervened on the scene.
Following the violent impact, the car driven by a 20-year-old man simply turned into a heap of beasts. For now, the causes of the accident are not known.

The driver of the car had no chance of survival. From the images published on Facebook, you can see how the car was almost completely crushed under the TIR. The driver was trapped between the contorted beasts of the car.
“At these moments, road traffic on National Road 65 is blocked, in both directions, in Slătioara commune as a result of a road event.
The police are present at the scene to establish the circumstances of the event”, said senior agent Claudiu Șerban, spokesperson of the Olt County Police Inspectorate, around 09:40 on Monday morning, notes Eveniment de Olt.

Also on Monday morning, another serious accident took place in Covasna. Four vehicles were involved in the collision on DN 10, between the localities of Sita Buzăului and Zăbrătău. As a result of the impact, three people arrived at the hospital.

The road accident happened around 08:15. “Following the investigations carried out by the police, it was found that a 19-year-old young man, who was driving a car on DN 10, from Brașov towards Buzău, at kilometer 105 + 150m, in circumstances to be determined, entered the lane opposite direction and collided head-on with another car traveling from Buzău to Brașov”, reports IPJ Covasna.
After this event, the 19-year-old, as well as two other men, both drivers in two of the other vehicles, received medical assistance and were later transported to the hospital for further investigations, IPJ Covasna also announces.
