The Korean company has officially launched its mid-range Android tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). A product that comes with a two-year cadence and is on its third iteration. The gains from one generation to another do not seem to be very consistent. However, we have a rather interesting product, about which, after several stages of release (on sources, accidental, discrete listing), we finally have all the information.
From a technical point of view, the big plus is the chipset. The appearance of 2024 opts for an Exynos 1280. The RAM memory remained at 4 GB, and for the internal storage capacity we have the two options of 64 GB or 128 GB. There’s also a microSD card slot, so internal storage isn’t an issue.
The operating system run by this core is an Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top of it. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) comes in a WiFi only version and a version with support for LTE connectivity. Three color versions are available: Oxford Grey, Chiffron Pink and Mint.
The screen is the same LCD with a diagonal of 10.4 inches and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels (aspect 15:9). It offers support for an S Pen stylus, which is even integrated into the standard package.
A front camera of 5 MP, one of 8 MP positioned on the back and a battery with the capacity of 7040 mAh complete the list of technical specifications. The latter charges with 15W and promises 14 hours of video playback.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is already on sale in the UK. The sale prices are 349 lira for the WiFi only version with 64 GB, respectively 379 lira for the one with 128 GB. In the coming days it will be listed on other European markets.
