Terrible accident on a road in the town of Chendu, Mureș county. A 74-year-old driver hit another car head-on, after he got sick at the wheel and drove into the opposite direction.

The impact was so strong that the man was stuck in the car. At the scene, medical crews and firefighters intervened to extricate him, but due to his serious condition, he was urgently transported by the SMURD helicopter.

Two other victims, the man’s wife, 69 years old, passenger and the driver of the other damaged car, 34 years old, were transported to the hospital for medical care. A criminal case of personal injury was opened.
