Between April 24-27, 2024, the national stage of the Made for Europe 2024 National Competition took place, in which 124 students from 40 counties participated and presented products made within the framework of projects financed by European programs: Erasmus+ SCH and VET, eTwinning, Erasmus Accreditation, EPAS, POCU, PNRAS.

The products made, designed and created with the contribution of students and teachers from each partner school in the project, were extremely diverse and stood out for their creativity, transferability, practicality and valued the skills acquired by the students. These products are educational resources whose benefits are limitless for both teachers and students.

“The jury, made up of 17 evaluators with experience in running European projects, awarded four first prizes to the Constanța team, which made Constanța county a national leader. Congratulations to the students!”, said Prof. Claudia Portase, school inspector for European projects.

The four outstanding students are: Robert-Alexandru Bantaș, from Nicolae Bălcescu Theoretical High School in Medgidia, for the product “Waste sorting system activated by voice”. He also received the ERASMUS Special Award from ANPCDEFP; Sali Aleda-Esra, from Nicolae Bălcescu Theoretical High School in Medgidia, for the product “Automatic plant irrigation system”; Sara-Maria Diaconu, from “Ovidius” Theoretical High School Constanța for the Booktrailers e-learning platform, and Alexia Munteanu, from Secondary School no. 30 “Gheorghe Șițeica” Constanța, with the e-book “The shapes in our lives – eTwinning section”.

“The performance of the Constanta team is unique and extraordinary. The work, passion, involvement, perseverance, creativity and coordination of the students by the dedicated teachers made this year Constanța County to be appreciated and rewarded accordingly. Congratulations to the students, parents, coordinating teachers and school teams implementing European projects! It’s an exceptional result!” declared the general school inspector, Prof. Sorin Mihai.
