Only one car was involved in the accident on DN 51 A, in Fântânele. The driver of the car lost control of the steering and overturned off the roadway.
The Teleorman firefighters arrived at the scene with a special fire truck with extrication mode and a SMURD, and a crew was sent from the Teleorman County Ambulance Service.
“A man of approx. 60 years old, conscious and cooperative, with chest injuries, was stuck in the car. He was taken out by the firemen, received qualified first aid and was transported to UPU Alexandria for specialized care”, reports ISU Teleorman.

About an hour later, another accident occurred on European road 70, in Dragănești Vlașca. A car and a truck collided heavily. Fortunately, in this case, there were no human casualties, only material damage. Following the impact between the two vehicles, traffic in the area is moving with difficulty, alternatively, in one direction.
