The management of “Transilvania” Târgu Mureș International Airport started, on April 25, 2024, a market consultation procedure regarding the project “Feasibility study to build a photovoltaic park at the Transilvania Airport Târgu Mureș Autonomous Region”, informs www.licitatiapublica. ro.
According to the information provided in the Tender Specifications, the purpose of the project is to produce electricity by harnessing the renewable source, represented by solar energy, in order to ensure own consumption and sell the surplus by injecting it into the national system or exclusively for the production of electricity, which be distributed in the national energy system.
“The airport wants to achieve the investment objective “Feasibility study to build a photovoltaic park at the Transilvania Airport Autonomous Authority Târgu Mureş”, on a land with an area of ​​approximately 10 hectares, which is in the public property of the County of Mureş and given to the administration of the Autonomous Authority Aeroportul” Transilvania” Târgu Mureş, according to the land deed, by building a photovoltaic park with an installed power so as to: ensure the consumption of the airport (currently as well as following the ongoing development); electricity production, which is not used for self-consumption, can be injected into the national energy system; the developed capacity can be absorbed within the national energy system at the investment development point; the newly developed capacity to be efficient from a cost-benefit point of view”, it is mentioned in the document approved by Peti Andrei, the president of the Board of Directors of the International Airport “Transilvania” Târgu Mureș.
The deadline for submitting the price offers necessary to “substantiate a value in relation to current prices to start the procurement procedure” is May 1, 2024.
