High-performance solutions proposed by Summit Agro Romania

The portfolio offered to domestic farmers by Summit Agro Romania, a company founded in 1997, part of the Japanese capital Sumi Agro Europe Group, which in turn belongs to the Sumitomo Corporation Group from Japan, was presented by Eng. Bogdan Radu, Commercial Director.

Gratitude to the farmers

In his presentation, Eng. Bogdan Radu said he was delighted to meet the farmers “in the heart of Romania” and then showed his gratitude for the farmers from the whole country.

“You feed this nation. You have given in the past, you give now and you will give in the future. Indeed, technology advances, we have innovation, but if we don’t have water and if we don’t eat, there is no one to buy those technologies, those new things that come to help us, to make our lives easier. In addition to the fact that you feed this nation and can feed many other peoples, you still have a great responsibility, which is to transmit to the new generations the love of God, the love of the earth and the people. That is why I encourage you to move forward, no matter how many challenges we will have. Your presence here together with our partners from DAFCOCHIM Agro tells a very big story about you, a story of success, a story of loyalty”, the commercial director of Summit Agro Romania, who was accompanied to the event by Ing. Vasile Pop, AgriTech Manager & Sales Director for Mureș, Brașov, Covasna, Harghita and Sibiu counties.

Four centuries of tradition

Next, Eng. Bogdan Radu made a brief presentation of the company he represents. In Romania, Summit Agro has been active for over 26 years in the trade sector of plant protection products, fertilizers, biostimulants and biological control products, and represents over 40 producers of agrochemical products.

“Summit Agro is a Japanese company that is currently part of a group that includes approximately 80,000 employees and 900 companies. If we think about the Sumitomo Group, please remember: this group was established 409 years ago. So it is older than the United States of America. What does this say? There are many things that we can extract from this. But very important are: continuity, investment, loyalty and very, very hard work”, emphasized the commercial director of Summit Agro Romania.

Rich product portfolio

The farmers present at the DAFCOCHIM Agro Spring Symposium then got to know the product portfolio of the Summit Agro Romania company.

In terms of herbicides, farmers have the following products at their disposal: Arbiter, Barracuda, Click Pro, Click Trio, Lancelot Super and Pledge 50 WP.

“The portfolio of the Summit Agro company brings before you herbicides for the control of weeds in the grass grain crop, in the corn crop and not only”, explained Eng. Bogdan Radu.

Regarding fungicides, Summit Agro Romania proposes the following products: Cyflamid 5 EW, Cupertine Super, Curenox 50, Legado, Protiostar 250 EC, Triumf 40 WG and Zetanil.

Regarding insecticides, farmers have at their disposal the following products proposed by Summit Agro Romania: Deca 2.5 EC, Mimic, Mospilan 20 SG, Trika Expert, Wizard and Yagos.

At the same time, the product portfolio of the Summit Agro Romania company also contains insect-acaricides (Kanemite SC and Nissorun 10 WP), fertilizers (Elite, Fertigofol Ultra, StartPhos and Sulfomax Fluid), molluscicides (Optimol), soil disinfectants (Nemasol 510) and products Bio, from the Seipro range (BrasiPro, Kaishi, Kinactiv Fruit, NoFly WP, Shigeki and Taikyu).
