Important notice for pensioners. Today, it is decided whether the pension payment comes on time in April

A number of 2,500,000 pensioners should receive their pensions through the postmen from Tuesday, April 2. But this is not at all certain as the postmen are on strike.

At these moments, the postmen’s representatives are negotiating with the Romanian Post and the government.

If no agreement is reached, the postmen will not take their pensions from tomorrow.

The Romanian Post assured that the pensions would be paid on time, but did not explain how it would do this.

At this moment, a negotiation session is taking place at the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization. A delegation of the National Trade Union Bloc, led by the president of the National Bank of Romania, Dumitru Costin, will participate in this meeting.

The management of the National Company “Pošta Română” has taken note of the decision of the Romanian Postal Workers’ Union to trigger the collective labor conflict in the form of a general strike on April 1.

The company emphasizes that the escalation of the labor conflict is artificial, and the National Company “Pošta Română” has taken all measures to overcome it.

We assure the more than 2 million pensioners who receive social rights through the National Company “Pošta Română” that there will not be a single person who will not receive their rights within the deadline, in April, the company also says, writes RTV.

The National Company “Pošta Română” transmits in an official statement that it has made available to the employees all the financial possibilities of the Company to avoid this collective labor conflict.
