A serious accident happened on Monday morning, April 29, 2024, in Olt county. According to the first data, one person died. The traffic, blocked in both directions, resumed after approximately two hours.

UPDATE at 12:00 – Traffic interrupted following the serious road accident on DN 65, between the towns of Găneasa and Slătioara, resumed after approximately two hours. An 18-year-old man, who had obtained his driver’s license less than two months ago, died after the car he was driving collided with a TIR.

“From the first checks, the police established the fact that a car driven by a young man, aged 18, from the municipality of Slatina, for reasons to be determined during the investigations, would have entered into a head-on collision with a group of vehicles, consisting of a tractor and semi-trailer, driven by a 39-year-old man from Vlădești commune, Vâlcea county. As a result of the road accident, the driver of the car died, and his body was transported to the Slatina Emergency County Hospital”reported the police from Olt.
