The police announced that an 18-year-old young man from Teleorman county was detained and then remanded in custody on charges of rape and domestic violence.
He went to the house of a woman he knew by sight and, under the pretext of asking her for a cigarette, he entered the house and raped her.
The incidents took place on Saturday, April 20, the victim claiming the deed the next day, and the young man being detained on Monday.
“In fact, on April 21 this year, the police were notified directly by a 67-year-old woman from Pleşoiu commune, Olt county, about the fact that, on April 20 this year, while she was in his home on the edge of the Smârdioasa locality, he would have been the victim of the crime of rape. The investigations carried out by the police highlighted the fact that the young man allegedly committed sexual acts on the 67-year-old woman, through coercion. Also, at the request of the victim, the young man refused to leave the building”, informed the Teleorman County Police on Tuesday, April 23.
Judicial sources told News.ro that the young man knew the woman, they had seen each other several times, but did not communicate. He went to her gate under the pretext of asking her for a cigarette, entered the house over her and raped her.
A preventive arrest warrant for 30 days was issued in the name of the aggressor.
