snarlDYING. The AUR medical caravan arrived in Maramureș county for 6 days. During March 25-30, the schedule of the Mobile Hospital was as follows: March 25-26, in Copalnic-Mănăștur commune, March 27-28, in Poienile de sub Munte commune and March 29-30, in Săcel commune.
During the 6 days of activity in Maramureș county, more than 900 citizens were consulted in the AUR Mobile Hospital – ordinary people who are directly affected by the deficient medical system in Maramureș, with insufficient staff and outdated infrastructure.
The coordinator of the AUR Medical Caravan is Mrs. Dr. Cristina Butura, a professional doctor, devoted to this noble profession, who came precisely from England to join this soulful project of the AUR team.
“The fact that hundreds of people from Maramureș have come for consultations for various ailments since the first days, once again confirms something we already know: the medical system in Maramureș faces serious deficiencies, from the infrastructure, to insufficient medical and auxiliary staff.
It is unacceptable that in 2024, people do not have access to medical services and cannot even afford a periodic, routine check-up to see what their health status is. In the villages of Maramureș are our grandparents, whom the current county leadership has forgotten, and for this they must answer to the people of Maramureș, in the elections of June 9, 2024.
We, the AUR Party team, are dedicated to creating a more accessible and efficient medical system for everyone, regardless of socio-economic status or place of residence”, said deputy Darius Pop, AUR candidate for the presidency of the Maramureș County Council.
As part of the Medical Caravan of the AUR party, the residents of Maramures were able to benefit from free medical services in dentistry, ophthalmology, blood tests, ultrasound and general medicine.
