Saturday, April 27, 2024, on the eve of the great feast of the Lord’s Entry into Jerusalem, Archbishopric of Iasi will organize the Pilgrimage of Flowers, both in Iaşi and in other dioceses within the diocese, in which the two hierarchs, priests, monks, monks and lay believers will participate.
In the city of Iaşi, the Pilgrimage of Flowers will be organized by the three deacons of Iași and will begin at 3:00 p.m., with the celebration of the Vespers service at the Bărboi Monastery by the Most Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul.
Thus, at 4:00 p.m., the prayer for the blessing of the willows will take place at the Bărboi Church.
At 16.30 there will be a Departure to the “Saint Sava” Church, to the “Sfinții Trei Hierarhi” Monastery. At 5:00 p.m. it will leave for the Metropolitan Cathedral, on Ștefan cel Mare si Sfânt Boulevard, and at 5:30 p.m. it will arrive at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Iasi, where the procession of pilgrims will be greeted by His Eminence Father Metropolitan Teofan.
