Firefighters from Detachment 1 Cluj-Napoca intervened this morning to extinguish a fire that engulfed a car traveling on the Vâlcele-Apahida belt.

“Firefighters from Detachment 1 Cluj-Napoca intervened this morning to extinguish a fire that broke out in a car traveling on the Cluj Est Bypass.

The emergency call came around 07:30, and a fire truck was sent to the scene, where they found the car burning extensively. The occupants were out of it.

Firefighters immediately extinguished the flames using two hose lines from different directions. As a result of the fire, two sound panels located on the side of the road were also damaged.

There were no people who requested medical advice following this event, and the preliminary investigations show that the fire most likely started from a malfunction of the car’s electrical installation”, ISU Cluj informed.
