A new supermarket chain is emerging in Romania, with a Polish retailer set to make massive hires and open more than 200 stores in several areas of the country. The first recruitments are made during this period.

It is about one of the most important companies in the food trade in Poland, Zabka. The retailer will expand in Romania, planning to open 200 convenience stores locally, under the Froo Romania brand.
Thus, the company announced that it is already making the first hires. During this period, they are looking for a Technical Manager, according to company representatives, quoted by economica.net. The people employed in this position will have duties in the new stores and locations “to deliver the technical and operational standard according to internal regulations”.
Moreover, the sales director of Żabka Poland was appointed director of operations at Froo Romania SRL Maciej Hodowany will take care of the expansion, opening of new stores and sales in Romania.

Zabka owns more than 10,000 stores in the Polish market, offering catering services and digital solutions. It has three million customers daily, and at the end of last year, the Polish group decided to expand.
Zabka acquired the majority stake in the DRIM Daniel company
Thus, he bought the majority stake in the distribution company DRIM Daniel Distributie FMCG from Romania, according to the quoted source. In April, the Competition Council approved the transaction.

The company plans to initially open stores in the urban area. In addition to the Froo stores, the Polish retailer is also considering bringing the concept of autonomous Nano stores to Romania.
