The Faculty of Philosophy of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi organizes free preparation for the Baccalaureate exam. Grade XII students can apply through an online form until today, May 7, 2024.

Free training sessions for 12th grade students

XIIth grade students can participate for free in the preparation for the Sociology test in the 2024 Baccalaureate exam. The meetings will be held online, between May 8 and June 5, being organized in the form of workshops. Students from all high schools in Romania can participate. Registration is done by completing the form available HERE, until May 7, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. The role of the workshops is to give students the opportunity to learn, apply and consolidate their knowledge of sociology in preparation for the Baccalaureate exam.

The activities are supported by teaching staff from the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iasi. The Department of Sociology and Social Assistance is the largest department of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social-Political Sciences, both in terms of the number of full-time teaching staff (22 full-time teaching staff) and the number of students, but also bachelor’s and master’s programs. The department manages three undergraduate programs (Sociology, Human Resources and Social Work) and six master’s programs.

Baccalaureate Exam Calendar

The 2024 Baccalaureate exam will take place between June 3 and July 8. The written test for Romanian language and literature takes place on July 1, 2024, the mandatory test for the profile takes place on July 2, 2024, the optional test for the profile and specialization on July 4, 2024, and the last test, the one for language and literature maternal, takes place on July 5, 2024. The results will be displayed on July 8, 2024, until 12:00.

Another very important exam is the National Assessment, which begins on June 25, when the written exam in Romanian Language takes place. The Mathematics test takes place on June 27, 2024, and the Mother Tongue test on June 28, 2024. The final results after resolving the appeals will be displayed on July 9, 2024.
