The digital transformation process of the company Antibiotice Iași moves to a new level, through the collaboration with IBM Romania and includes phased projects until 2030

Antibiotice Iasi concluded a new contract with IBM Romania Consulting, the only company of Technology with an integrated large-scale Consulting division for implementation SAP S/4HANA, one of the most advanced integrated management software solutions a business (ERP), in order to incorporate new technologies on the industrial platform from Iași.

The contract aims to support the company’s objectives, assumed by the plan business “The Future Together 2023-2030”, by implementing one of the most efficient current ERP solutions. This will ensure the transition of Antibotics to o modern and digital organization in every way.

Each project in our digital transformation agenda is implemented to a increase operational efficiency, maximize production quality and optimize the supply chain sourcing, ensuring that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.”, a declared Ciprian Iacob, manager of Engineering and Digitization of processes at Antibiotice.

For the next 15 months IBM and Antibiotics, through the implementation methodologies developed by IBM over hundreds of projects, will work together to adopt solutions suited to the company’s needs, employee training, monitoring performance and continuous process improvement.

The digital transformation process of the Antibiotics industrial platform is divided into projects with implementation deadlines until 2030, which underlines the character continuous and adaptive digital transformation in line with technological developments.

As a company operating in a competitive and regulated environment, Antibiotics aims to optimize work processes, reduce costs and improve productivity, as well as accelerating decision-making processes through access to data and analysis real time. Following the analysis carried out together with IBM representatives, regarding the implementation of an ERP solution, Antibiotice anticipates benefits with an impact on work productivity, such as:

– increasing operational efficiency and reducing processing times, with an estimate of improving productivity by up to 25%, depending on the optimized process
– speeding up decision-making processes through access to real-time data and analysis, with o estimated improvement in decision-making speed by up to 32%.

These percentages reflect averages of productivity gains identified by highlighting the positive impact that digitization can have on company operations.

Antibiotice uses digitization and process automation as an effective tool for sustainable development, and the ability to quickly integrate new technologies and to evaluating the impact in detail is a competitive advantage.

In 2023, the company signed a first contract with IBM Romania Consulting through which a benefited from consulting for digitization according to current needs and priorities but also in the perspective of the objectives established in its strategic plan.
