A driver was captured in the images, while driving in the opposite direction, on the A10 Alba Iulia – Aiud – Turda highway. It endangered road traffic.

A tragedy could happen, given that, in the direction of travel he was in, there were cars coming from the front that were driving normally.

The scene was captured in images by a traffic participant, in the Sântimbru area, according to digi24.ro (see video here)

Those who filmed the incident reported in the video that the registration number could not be seen, but that it was “a gang of pensioners”.

The police have self-reported the case and are conducting investigations to identify the driver.

“Following the appearance in the public space of some information and images regarding a car traveling in the opposite direction, on the A10 highway, Sebeș – Cluj, near the town of Sântimbru in Alba County, the Public Relations Department of the Alba County Police Inspectorate makes the following statements:

The police officers of the A1 Highway Police Bureau, Rm. Vâlcea – Deva are conducting checks in order to identify the driver and apply legal measures”.

The driver risks a fine and suspension of the driver’s license for 120 days.
