With the Easter holidays fast approaching, the study carried out by Reveal Marketing Research brings to light the interesting trends and transformations in the way Romanians prepare for this period full of spiritual meanings and culinary traditions.

According to this study, over 79% of Romanians want to spend Easter at home, in the privacy of the family, thus emphasizing the importance of connection and communication with loved ones. This trend is accompanied by a significant increase in the desire to travel, with 16% of respondents planning to travel over the Easter holidays, compared to 11% the previous year.

However, the tradition of spending Easter with the family remains strongly anchored in the hearts of Romanians, and the Resurrection service is eagerly awaited by 75% of them, especially women.

An interesting aspect highlighted by the study is that for 32% of Romanians, Easter is more about connection and communication with loved ones, while 31% focus more on traditions and customs. This balance between interpersonal ties and Easter traditions reveals the depth and diversity of meanings that this holiday takes on for each individual.

In the context where many Romanians are far from their loved ones during the holidays, technology becomes a precious tool to maintain emotional ties. Thus, 62% of respondents opt for text messages, while 59% prefer phone or video calls to feel closer to their loved ones.

Likewise, Easter traditions are perceived differently by Romanians, with 41% considering them an anchor in the past and a deep connection with family and fundamental values, while for 32% they represent an oasis of tranquility and tradition in a world excessively technological modern.

Despite the changes and adaptations, Easter remains one of the most important holidays for Romanians, and childhood memories, such as going to church on Easter night or the joy of painting eggs with the family, remain imprinted in their souls.

Thus, in a constantly changing world, Easter traditions continue to represent a pillar of stability and cultural identity for Romanians, offering them an authentic setting in which to celebrate the joy of the Resurrection with their loved ones.

The Reveal Marketing Research study offers us a captivating look into the complex universe of Easter celebrations in Romania, showing that, despite the transformations, interpersonal connections and authentic traditions remain the central pillars of this holiday loaded with spiritual and emotional meanings.
