On Friday, from 19:00, FCC UAV Arad will host Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe in the second game of the semifinal of the National Women’s Basketball League. Arădence are 1-0 after winning last week with 86-79 at Sfântu Gheorghe, so if they win at home they will qualify for the finals, where they would face the winner of the series CSM Constanța – CSM Târgoviște.

Coach Miroslav Popov prefaced tomorrow’s duel: “At last Friday’s match, the Sepsi girls showed us a lot of things that we have to prepare here for them. It will be difficult because they come to play all or nothing. They’re going to be aggressive, they’re going to try to get to the basket from every position, and our defense has to be tough and nimble. We have to be a team and play together and attack. It’s just one game, everything is on our side, all we have to do is fight to win, but it will be tough. We don’t have to pay attention to one player, they have many good players, all of them, in fact, I say that the defense will be decisive. The pressure is on them, though, with a full house, with the fans around, our girls have to understand that they don’t have to play under pressure. The fans want us well, they will push us from the back and do everything possible to win this game too”

At this time, more than half the hall is already full, but tickets are still available online HERE. The prices are the same as before. In the VIP area, tickets cost 30 lei. In the rest of the hall, adult tickets cost 10 lei if bought online and 15 lei at the hall, while tickets for children between 3 and 14 years old are 5 lei. To avoid pre-match crowding, tickets will be available at the venue on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm and on match day from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
