Starting this month, 30 students of the Faculty of Psychology from the “Ovidius” University of Constanța will carry out the internship, discussing with children from the schools of Constanţa the problems generated by violence and bullying. The inter-institutional collaboration protocol, signed on Monday, April 1, in the “Oval Hall” of the Prefect’s Institution, by:

  • The Prefect’s Institution – Constanța County, represented by Mr. SILVIU – IULIAN COȘA, as prefect and initiator;
  • Ovidius University of Constanța, represented by university associate dr. DAN MARCEL ILIESCU, as rector and collaborator, through the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, represented by prof. Dr. MIRCEA ADRIAN MARICA, as dean;
  • Constanța County School Inspectorate, represented by Mr. SORIN MIHAI, as general school inspector and collaborator;
  • The Save the Children organization, represented by Mrs. GABRIELA ALEXANDRESCU, as executive president and collaborator;
  • The County Council of Constanța Students, represented by Miss ANDREEA – KARINA LAZĂR, as president and collaborator.

is a natural continuation of the pilot project, started a year ago regarding the activity of information, awareness, evaluation and monitoring of the phenomenon of bullying in the educational units of Constanța county.

“I thank all the partners for their willingness to be involved both in the previous partnership and in the one signed today, together with the new partner, Ovidius Constanța University, which will involve approximately 30 students in the awareness activities carried out in the 10 schools established in the first protocol . This time, the protocol has become a legal necessity, to be able to allow the involvement of students, respectively the academic environment, in the activity of raising awareness of the phenomenon of bullying, among ninth grade students.”, declared the prefect of Constanța County, Silviu-Iulian The basket.

Thus, in the following period, according to the established calendar, the signatory parties will participate in actions to inform, raise awareness and combat the phenomenon of bullying at the level of educational units in Constanta county, according to the legal provisions in force, in the 10 educational units evaluated by the Commission joint verification of the intervention mechanism in the prevention and combating of bullying and violence, established by Prefect’s Order no. 30/11/01/2023:

  1. “Regina Maria” National College of Arts – Constanța
  2. “Mircea cel Batrân” National College – Constanta
  3. UCECOM “Spiru Haret” Technological High School – Constanța
  4. Secondary School No. 7 “Remus Opreanu” – Constanta
  5. Secondary School No. 30 “Gheorghe Șițeica” – Constanta
  6. “Lazar Edeleanu” Technological High School – Năvodari
  7. Economic College – Mangalia
  8. “Nicolae Dumitrescu” Technological High School – Cumpăna
  9. “Mircea Dragomirescu” Secondary School – Medgidia
  10. “Dobrogea” Technological High School – Castelu

In the future there is the possibility of expanding the project.

Andreea – Karina Lazăr, the representative of the County Council of Constanța Students, stated that, according to the information received from the students in the county, regarding the feedback obtained following the actions of the first partnership, at the school level, a greater importance to bullying cases. Furthermore, the president of CJE Constanța appreciates that the return through the actions of this new protocol, with specialists who can explain to the students, in their understanding, what bullying means and how it can be prevented, is extremely important and beneficial.
