Two weather codes, one yellow and the other orange, have been activated for Prahova county this evening from 8:00 p.m.

Thus, from this evening, April 1, at 8:00 p.m. and until April 2, at 10:00 p.m., a yellow code of wind and storm intensification will be in effect in the northern area of ​​the county. In the high mountain area, gusts will exceed 90…110 km/h. In the high mountain area, generally at altitudes above 1600 m, mixed precipitation will be reported.

Between April 2, 08:00 – April 2, 22:00, the county will be divided into two codes: until 18:00 there will be a yellow code in the north of the county with sustained intensification of the wind. Throughout Tuesday (April 2), the wind will have sustained intensifications throughout the country, with speeds of 55…65 km/h, and locally 70…80 km/h. There will be storms in some places. In the high mountain area, gusts will exceed 90…110 km/h.

For the rest of the county, until April 2 at 10 p.m., an orange storm code will be in effect. There will be speeds in general of 80…85 km/h, and at high altitudes in mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 120 km/h.
