Kopic lost the changing room at Dinamo! High tension before the last decisive matches

Dinamo Bucharest currently occupies the penultimate position in the Superliga play-out.

With 21 accumulated points, the “Dogs” are tied with Poli Iasi, the Moldovans currently having the status of red lantern.

The last two stages are decisive for Dinamo, the Bucharest team being obliged to obtain positive results in order to finish the season at least in the play-off spot.

Before the meetings with U Cluj and UTA Arad, the atmosphere in the Dynamo team’s locker room is not good at all. It all started after the last duel that Dinamo ended in a draw on the Arc de Triomphe in the company of FC Voluntari, score 1-1.

The “dogs” fans also lost their patience and started booing the players, also demanding the resignation of coach Zeljko Kopic.

Răzvan Patriche, the captain of the red and whites, tried to have a discussion with the angry ultras, the latter mentioning that the team “doesn’t play anything” under the command of the Croatian technician.

Misunderstandings between Romanian and foreign players

A conflict also exists at the internal level, there are currently two camps in the Dynamo locker room: the one made up of foreign players vs. Romanian footballers, according to GSP information.

In the last period, Kopic relied more on foreign players during the play-out games, captain Răzvan Patriche and Ionuț Amzăr or Antonio Bordușanu being generally the only Romanians who started as starters. It should also be mentioned that Amzăr or Bordușanu were used for the team to comply with the U21 rule in the competition.

Dennis Politic and Ahmed Bani are more on the bench, the latter being used sporadically by Kopic.

All these aspects created animosity between the two camps, also considering the fact that foreign players are much better paid, despite the difficult position in the ranking in which Dinamo is.
