Andrei lived for 14 years in London, where he had almost all the luxury in the world at his feet. But he left everything and decided to return home, to Porumbacu de Jos, in Sibiu County, where he founded Tower Farm Transylvania.

Andrei Nicola immigrated to Great Britain in 2009, and at first he was an unskilled worker on construction sites in the heart of London. He went to college here, and that helped him progress after a few years. He was promoted and gradually became Project Manager, Contract Manager and Director for a large company dealing with the renovation and fit outs of restaurants, commercial buildings and offices in central London.

His wife also managed to advance in her career, earning quite well, and the two of them were able to finally buy two houses in London and have almost all the luxuries in the world at their feet.

However, the Nicola family realized that the luxurious life was not what they wanted for the future

However, the Nicola family realized that a luxurious life was not what they wanted for the future and after 14 years spent in London they decided to move to Porumbacu de Jos, in Sibiu county, where with the money obtained from the sale of the two houses in London and -they bought Angus cows and built a farm.

“We moved to the country to grow our own vegetables, to have some chickens near the house to eat home-made eggs and when we make a chicken soup it should be meat that is not injected, meat and other products from the locals as much as possible BIO or organic. Plus we have our own Angus farm and we are struggling with the system to make a business selling BIO meat”, Andrei confessed.

He also recounted the experience lived far from the country, but in a civilized world:

“I lived in England like a King, I had two houses bought in London, luxury cars at the gate, I dress in clothes bought only from the stores of famous designers, I went on expensive vacations and ate at fancy restaurants, … but I realized that my wife and I didn’t need all that…

A lot of money brings a lot of problems and less time spent with children… No matter how much money you make, it’s never enough and you become a hamster running continuously on a wheel after a false reality… Now we live in the country, in Romania, in -a house that is not worth much, we started driving simple cars, we dress in clothes that don’t show the brand anymore and we are happy”, he confessed.

The only thing they lack in Romania is the civilization of London. “Unfortunately, people are much more civilized and friendlier in London than at home in Romania,” said Andrei Nicola for Annunțul UK.
