The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has updated the weather forecast for the next period, April 29 – May 27, and according to it we are expecting thermal values above normal for the period.
In the second half of May, the air temperature will be slightly above the normal average for this period throughout the country and there will be little rain, with precipitation amounts close to the normal for the period.

Week 29.04.2024- 06.05.2024
Temperatures will register above average values for this period throughout Romania, with an emphasis on the northern regions.
As for precipitation, amounts close to the normal ones specific to this period are expected in most of the country.
Week 06/05/2024 – 13/05/2024
Average temperatures will approach normal values for this period in all regions, according to this week’s weather forecast.
Precipitation amounts will generally be at the usual level for this range, with possible excesses in mountainous areas.

Temperatures will exceed normal values during this period
Week 13/05/2024 – 20/05/2024
Average air temperature values will be slightly above normal for this period across the country.
Precipitation amounts will generally be close to normal for this range in all regions, the weather forecast shows.
Week 20/05/2024 – 27/05/2024
Temperatures will be slightly above average for this week, throughout Romania. As for rainfall, generally near-normal amounts are expected for this period across most of the country.
A greater amount of precipitation is likely to be recorded in the southern part of the country, according to ANM.
Easter weather forecast
According to ANM meteorologists, from a thermal point of view we will maintain a background of warm weather, including on Easter night.
The weather forecast shows that the nights will not be cold, and the minimum temperatures will be between 2 and 11 degrees Celsius.
Only in depression areas will temperatures slightly lower, of zero degrees, be recorded.
Also, says ANM meteorologist, Diana Giugiu, the weather forecast shows that there will be rain in places, including on the night of Resurrection, at the local and regional level.
