Electric minibuses for students from Gorj! Cosmin Popescu, president of Gorj Regional Council, reported that the second project for the purchase of electric minibuses, for the transportation of students from Gorj county, was approved for financing.
“The Gorj County Council is taking an important step towards a greener and more sustainable future for our community, by approving the project “Sustainable Transport for Gorj County Students”.
This project, financed by the Environment Fund Administration, will add 11 electric school minibuses to our fleet intended to transport students from 11 administrative-territorial units of the county.
The new vehicles join the 27 minibuses already purchased through PNNR, raising the total number of electric school minibuses in Gorj to 38.
This initiative underscores our ongoing commitment to improving air quality and promoting green transportation, and demonstrates that together we are taking concrete steps toward a cleaner future for our students and community.
