The Gorj Gendarmerie is recruiting young people who want to become gendarmes

The “Tudor Vladimirescu” Gorj County Gendarmerie Inspectorate is conducting, between April 24 and May 14, a new recruitment campaign for young people who want a military career in the Romanian Gendarmerie, as follows:

The “Grigore Alexandru Ghica” Drăgășani Military School for Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers offers a number of 350 places, of which 3 are intended for citizens of Roma ethnicity, and 3 for those of other minorities.

The “Petru Rareș” Fălticeni Military School for Gendarmerie NCOs offers 350 places, of which 3 are intended for citizens of Roma ethnicity, and 3 for those of other minorities.
In order to attend the military schools for gendarmerie non-commissioned officers in Drăgășani or Fălticeni, certain conditions must be met that can be consulted on the website www.jandarmeriagorj.ro (Career section) or on www.jandarmeriafalticeni.ro, respectively www.scoaladragasani.ro.
The application form for registration must be submitted by May 14th, exclusively in electronic format, to the e-mail address [email protected], and the files must be submitted by candidates in full volume, by May 21st, at the headquarters of the Gorj Gendarmerie .
The psychological evaluation of the candidates is carried out on a date and in a location that will be announced later, through a timely announcement on the website of the Gorj Gendarmerie.

The physical performance evaluation test is held between May 25-31.

The knowledge test will be held on June 15

The knowledge verification test will be held on June 15, at the educational units chosen by the candidates who passed the physical performance evaluation test and will consist of a grid test that includes subjects from the Romanian language discipline, the foreign language discipline, subjects from the specific legislation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as of the political institutions of the state and subjects of civic and citizenship education, exercises to assess the ability to analyze and synthesize, as well as exercises regarding the acquisition of logical reasoning.
The competition topic and bibliography are available on the website www.jandarmeriagorj.ro.

“The medical examination will be carried out between June 19 and July 12, for the candidates who fall into the number of places taken out at the admission competition, in descending order of final grades.
Candidates who have been declared medically fit are declared “Admitted”, in descending order of final marks.
The final admission results are displayed at the headquarters of the educational units and posted on their official website, until July 19.
