33 commercial companies from Gorj county requested the employment of people from countries outside the European area, generally Asians.
“The County Agency for Employment (AJOFM) Gorj has issued, since the beginning of the year, certificates for 33 companies to present themselves at the Immigration Office. These companies requested the employment of 228 people from countries outside the European Union”, said Romeo Chiriac, director of AJPFM Gorj.
The validity of certificates for the employment of foreigners has been increased
The certificates issued by AJOFM for the employment of people from outside Europe have a longer validity period.
“The novelty is that the certificates we issue to employers who want to hire people from the non-European area and use our services in a first phase in which they request people who meet certain conditions for employment, we issue them the certificate with which they present themselves at the Immigration Office within the Police. The validity period of the certificates we issue and present at the Immigration Office has been increased from 60 days to 90 days. The requested certificates are issued within five working days”, said Romeo Chiriac.
