The Germans from KZWO, with products for cruise ships, yachts, caravans and churches, are preparing a factory in Romania

The German company of upholstered furniture KZWO, whose articles are intended, among others, for cruise ships, yachts and caravans, but also for churches, entered Romania, preparing, in Satu Mare, furniture production activities, reveals data analyzed by Profit .ro.

KZWO chose the Satu Mare South Industrial Park, where the Italian appliance company De’Longhi will build, after an investment of 40 million euros, the largest own factory of coffee machines in the world.

The company was founded in 2014 and relaunched four years later with the digitization of the production of the factory in Germany.

KZWO designs and manufactures upholstered furniture based on both individual and volume orders.

KZWO’s clients come from a wide range of industries, from cruise ships and yachts to caravans, hotels or shopping centres.

Another line of business is intended for churches, after the takeover by KZWO, in 2019, of the Meditatio company, a brand that has long produced upholstery for benches and chairs used in more than 20,000 places of worship at European level.
