Petrolul Ploiești escaped the emotions of relegation. The yellow wolves beat Oțelul Galati, today, with 2-1.

The Ploiești team mathematically saved themselves from relegation, after the victory with Dorinel Munteanu’s students, achieved even on Easter, at the Ilie Oană stadium.

Gheorghe Grozav scored in the 11th minute (from the penalty), and the Galatasaray equalized through Frederic Maciel in the 40th minute.

The winning goal was scored by Berisha in the 81st minute.

Petrolul will play the last game of this season, away, with Poli Iași, but regardless of the score, the Ploiesti side remain in the first league.
