An 8-year-old girl, from Feneș, was hit by a car while crossing the street legally, in Alba Iulia. The guilty driver left the scene of the accident.
On March 27, 2024, at around 12:50 p.m., the traffic police in Alba Iulia were alerted by a 34-year-old man from the town of Feneș, Alba county, regarding the fact that his daughter was the victim of a road accident , and the car driver would have left the scene of the accident.
From the investigations carried out by the police, it turned out that a 35-year-old woman from Alba Iulia, while driving a car, on Toporașilor Street in the municipality, allegedly performed a reverse maneuver and surprised and injured a minor , aged 8, from the town of Feneș, Alba county, who would have been engaged in the legal crossing of the street.
As a result of the accident, the minor suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by her parents for medical care.
The driver was later identified by the police. She was tested with the breathalyzer, which indicated that she was not under the influence of alcohol.
The investigations are continued, in terms of the commission of the crimes of culpable bodily harm and leaving the scene of the accident.
