Samsung will even release a Galaxy Watch Ultra watch, dropping the “Pro” designation from the Watch7 lineup; A Watch FE is also coming

In the fall of last year, we heard a very interesting rumor, that Samsung would have a Galaxy Watch Ultra, at that time the implementation of a micro-LED screen was also circulated. Fast-forward to April 2024 when we have confirmation of such a model in Samsung’s portfolio, the discovery being made by AndroidHeadlines.

In a certification document the watch appears in SM-L705U, SM-L705N and SM-L705F versions, with a generous 578 mAh battery. However, it is not clear whether the Galaxy Watch7 series will also include a Watch Ultra or whether Samsung will release it as a standalone model called the Apple-themed “Watch Ultra”, followed by a Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in 2025 and so on.

The appearance of the Ultra in Samsung’s portfolio could also mean the abandonment of the Watch7 Pro variant precisely in order to convince the high-end audience to choose an Ultra. The series also includes the Watch 7 and Watch 7 Classic variants, and the watch is not the only novelty prepared by the South Korean company, because there is also a Galaxy Watch FE on the horizon.
