Every year, in the first week after Easter, on Friday, there is the celebration of the “Spring of Healing”.
At the Izbuc Monastery, there is a special occasion for celebration, because it is the patron saint. One of the churches of the monastery is patronized by “Izvorul Tamăduirii”. Also within the monastic complex there is a spring, unique in Europe, declared a monument of nature since before 1989, which “bursts” at greater or lesser time intervals. The water of this spring has healing powers according to the testimonies of those who found relief from various ailments here.
