Police officers from the Olt Economic Crime Investigation Service descended this morning on dozens of locations in a tax evasion case.
The law enforcers implement 47 home search warrants, at the offices of some legal entities (2) and the homes of some individuals (45). The searches are carried out as part of a criminal case, in which investigations are carried out for tax evasion, illegal acquisition of funds, forgery of documents under private signature and use of forgery.
“From the research it emerged that, in the period 2019 – 2022, the administrator of a commercial company from the Găneasa commune would have registered fictitious apprenticeship contracts in the accounting documents of the company, with the aim of obtaining, illegally, funds from the budget state, thus causing a damage of approximately 2,000,000 lei”, reported IPJ Olt.
The searches are carried out with the support of the fighters of the Special Actions Service and the policemen of the Olt County Police Inspectorate.
