After, at the end of last month, we took Satu Mare County for granted, starting today, for three days, we will be with our colleagues from IPJ Vâlcea.
Two members of the SNPPC Central Executive Office, together with the representative of the SNPPC Territorial Office from IPJ Vâlcea, will travel, daily, to municipal, town and rural Police structures, where they will have meetings with the staff present at the program, available for union meetings, but and with those who have the opportunity to take part in the meetings, in their free time (at the level of this SNPPC Territorial Office, the general meeting of the members of the county is to be held soon, for the election of the executive management and the trade union delegates at the level of subunits ).
We have proposed, this year as well, to have a permanent and direct dialogue with the people, to see, with our own eyes, the reality on the ground, from the grassroots, because we all know that the true life of the policeman pulses there , with good and bad, as they say.
We don’t like cosmetic things, so we want to see, for real, how the professional and economic-social rights of the police and contract staff are respected, how the legislation in the field of labor law is applied, but also the provisions The collective agreement regarding the service relations of police officers with the MAI (document still in the renegotiation phase for the next two years), as well as those relating to the rights of contractual staff, provided for in the basic legislation and in Collective Labor Agreementsigned last year, with the MAI.
For an effective social dialogue and a truthful assessment of the facts, we will also hold discussions with the staff of the unit, as well as with other managers, from various levels, in order to evaluate the fair planning of our colleagues in specific missions and activities, the concordance the work schedule with the regulations in force, the method of payment of economic-financial rights, on time and in the legal amounts, etc. We are also interested in logistical issues, in the provision of intervention techniques and equipment, but also in personnel protection, especially during operational missions, as well as in the conditions ensured for continuous professional training, according to the rules in force.
Through the territorial leaders and SNPPC union delegates from the county, we will communicate the structures and localities we will reach in these days; at these meetings, we also expect colleagues from nearby subunits or in their spare time, who have the opportunity to participate and bring up various problems or aspects, of personal or collective interest.
