On the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2024, an unfortunate incident took place in a supermarket in Sector 3 of the Capital, where a 70-year-old woman was hit by a piece of the collapsed ceiling. Fortunately, the only victim suffered only minor injuries and was taken away conscious by a SMURD crew, News.ro notes.

According to the information provided by ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, the incident took place in a store located on Liviu Rebreanu street, and the detached piece of ceiling covers an area of ​​two square meters.

“The victim (70-year-old woman) was picked up by a medical team, in a conscious state, later being transported to the Pantelimon Hospital, with minor injuries. The other 10 people got out without any problems and the store was closed.”, the representatives of ISU Bucharest-Ilfov sent.

What is the health status of the woman

According to the statements provided by the medical personnel, the woman affected by the incident suffered a cranio-cerebral trauma following the blow caused by the fallen piece of ceiling. Medical crews on the scene quickly responded to provide the necessary medical attention to the victim and transport him to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

In addition to the intervention of the medical crews, two special fire trucks, together with a SMURD crew, also attended the scene of the incident to manage the situation and provide adequate medical assistance.
