The Neamţ County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) informed that a 22-year-old man was caught driving a car under the influence of drugs, twice, in the night from Friday to Saturday!
The tragedy of May 2 almost happened again in Piatra Neamț, where a 22-year-old young man was caught by the traffic police twice while driving on drugs, in the same night.
Young man caught driving drunk twice in the same night
The first time he was pulled over on the right, the driver was stopped around 01.45 on Mihai Eminescu Street, and the test with the device provided by the police came out positive. The driver was taken to the hospital for the collection of biological samples, at the same time his driver’s license was withheld.
Three hours later, the police found the 22-year-old driver behind the wheel again, also in the same area, and the equipment found again that the driver was under the influence of drugs. The law enforcement took the driver to the hospital again, for the collection of biological samples.
From the hospital, the young man was taken to the headquarters of IPJ Neamţ, where he was detained for 24 hours. He is being investigated for the offenses of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances and driving without a license.
We remind you that this also happened last year, on May 2, when Vlad Pascu was stopped by two law enforcement officers, who found drugs in the driver’s car, but admitted that they did not test him to see if he was there or not under the influence of hallucinogenic substances. Unlike his colleagues from Piatra Neamț, the policemen from Constanța let Vlad Pascu go, who after a few hours caused a road accident resulting in the death of two innocent young people.
