The Cluj County Gendarmerie Inspectorate is conducting, between April 24 and May 14, a new recruitment campaign for young people who want a military career in the Romanian Gendarmerie, admission session April-July 2024.

At the “Grigore Alexandru Ghica” Dragășani Military School for Non-Commissioned Gendarmerie Officers, a number of 350 places are up for competition, of which 3 are intended for citizens of Roma ethnicity, and 3 for other minorities, and at the Military School for Non-Commissioned Gendarmerie Officers “Petru Rareș” In Fălticeni, 350 places are up for competition, of which 3 are intended for citizens of Roma ethnicity, and 3 for those of other minorities.

Enrollment type application

The registration-type application provided as an annex to the announcement posted on the unit’s website, as well as, where appropriate, the consent regarding the request for the extract from the criminal record by the recruitment unit, is filled out by the candidate in a legible manner, signed and transmit, exclusively in electronic format, to the e-mail address [email protected], in relation to the domicile/residence entered in the candidate’s identity card, until May 14, 2024, including Saturdays and Sundays.

In order to participate in the admission contests at the educational institutions of the Romanian Gendarmerie, candidates must meet the following specific conditions and criteria:

a) have Romanian citizenship and domicile in Romania;

b) to know the Romanian language, written and spoken;

c) to have full exercise capacity;

d) to be medically, physically and psychologically fit;

e) to be at least 18 years old or to be at least 18 years old during the year in which they participate in the admissions competition;

f) to be high school graduates with a baccalaureate diploma;

g) to behave according to the principles and requirements of conduct accepted and practiced in society;

h) to have no criminal record, except in the case of rehabilitation;

i) not be under criminal investigation or trial for the commission of crimes;

j) have not been dismissed from a public position or their individual employment contract has not been terminated for disciplinary reasons in the last 7 years;

No political police

k) not to have carried out political police activities, as defined by law;

l) to be up to 27 years old in the year of participation in the contest;

m) not to have tattoos or ornamental elements, of any kind, applied, inserted or implanted on/into the body, not covered by clothing, in the summer outfit;

n) to have obtained, during high school studies, an average of at least 9.00, with the exception of candidates who graduated from high school education institutions in member states of the European Union where the grade/qualifying score is not used to evaluate the student;

o) not to have been expelled for disciplinary offenses from an educational institution;

p) to hold or obtain until graduation a category B driver’s license.
