The existence of the Galaxy S24 FE is confirmed by a UK operator; The phone is listed on the EE website

--

Rumors of the Galaxy S24 FE have recently surfaced online. Some say that it would arrive towards the end of the year, other tipsters believe that the terminal could be presented at the Unpacked event on July 10, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. It is not clear when it will debut, but it is certain that a UK carrier has already confirmed the phone’s existence and name. I have details below.

It is about the EE operator in the UK. The Galaxy S24 FE appears in the database with the model number SM-271U. However, other details about the terminal are not disclosed. If we are to reiterate the rumors already present online, it seems that there will not be big differences compared to the predecessor.

Thus, it seems that we will receive a 6.1-inch AMOLED display, 12 GB of RAM in top configuration + 128 GB of UFS 3.1 or 256 GB (UFS 4.0) storage. The terminal would also receive a 4500 mAh battery, although it seems a bit small in 2024, considering that the Galaxy A35 or A55 have 5000 mAh units.

Rumors are based on the fact that Samsung would not bring major changes from its predecessor, but I would say that there is still a chance that we will get more substantial upgrades. It’s not clear when it will debut, but somehow I would expect a release in the fall. The phone hasn’t received certifications yet, I haven’t seen any renders with it.

In fact, there are fewer leaks about the Galaxy S24 FE than the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, which will debut in July.
