Atanas Trică, the grandson of Ilie Balaci, signs with the Becali brothers’ agency firm.

Atanas Trică, 19 years old, recently signed a contract with the impresario firm of brothers Giovanni and Victor Becali. Giovanni Becali, aged 71, confirmed this information in a podcast hosted by Damian Drăghici.

“We represent Balaci’s nephew now. I have his grandson, Trică’s boy, he is 18-19 years old, he is the point of attack”, declared Giovanni Becali.

Atanas Trică is the grandson of the legendary Ilie Balaci and the son of Eugen Trică and Lorena Balaci. Currently, he is under contract with Craiova University, but plays in the Second League at CS Tunari, where he was loaned for six months.

Before being loaned to Tunari, Atanas Trică played for CSA Steaua, also on loan from Craiova University. During his time at the military club, he managed to score three goals in 19 matches.

Dennis Man: “Now it’s a certainty”

In other news, Giovanni Becali recently discussed the situation of Dennis Man, another player represented by his company. Although Man is wanted by several top teams in Europe, none have sent scouts to watch him at the national team’s two recent matches.

“Dennis Man I don’t think there is another player who needs to be watched closely, he is a established footballer, a certainty. When he was 19-20 years old, until he left Romania, yes. But now it is a certainty. The scouts still come to the match, notice… With Northern Ireland, as far as I know, there were no scouts for Man at the match. Despite this, many teams have Man in their sights. “There are many teams looking for him. And now it looked very good. He continues his developments from Parma,” added Becali.

Regarding his international career, in the first training match, in March, of the Romanian national team, Man was the starter and scored a goal.
