The Romanian national football team obtained only one point from the two training matches of the last few days. For Edi Iordănescu’s boys, there are two more chances to show what they can do in June.

The tricolors started the preparation for the European Championship in Germany with two difficult tests: the games with Northern Ireland and Colombia.

In the first game, in Bucharest, Romania drew 1-1 with Nothern Irelandso that on Tuesday evening, in Madrid, the tricolors lose the duel with Colombia2-3, after being down 0-3.

After an inconclusive game with the Irish, in a game they could have won anyway, Iordănescu’s students were categorically dominated by the Colombian team.

The inspired changes of the selector led to a 10-minute forcing of the Romanian footballers, who managed to score twice through Ianis Hagi and Florin Tănase, and against the background of a premature relaxation of the South Americans.

The “luxury” friendlies are over

Before leaving for Germany for the EURO, a tournament that starts on June 14, Edi Iordănescu will test his students in two friendly games, both in Bucharest, against national teams lower ranked than us.

Both friendly games will take place in Bucharest, in Ghencea, at the Steaua stadium.
