The American giant promises that users will be able to create itineraries for trips with the help of AI, and also improves support for lists of recommendations in Google Maps.

Search Generative Experience, the set of artificial intelligence experiments that Google launched last year, is updated with a functionality for the travel area.

The user can command the AI to create an itinerary for a particular city or region, and it will create a list of sights, attractions and restaurants, along with options for transport and accommodation.

As in other cases, Google does not create the content required for this facility, nor does it have employees dedicated to the field. The American giant just scans specialist websites and uses their content to train its AI.

To begin with, this feature is available in the United States and only to those who have enrolled in the Search Generative Experience program.

At the same time, Google announces that it will improve the feature of discovering recommendations lists in Google Maps, starting with some cities in the United States and Canada.

Recommendations made by travel publications will now be displayed in Google Maps when the user searches for a city for a trip.
