Romanian pensioners receive new good news, before Easter. The Ministry of Labor made an important announcement about the payment of pensions.
The Ministry of Labor announced that the money for the payment of pensions was transferred in full to the Romanian Post Office. Three installments of payments have been made since last week.
“The sums necessary for the payment of pensions before the Easter holidays were transferred, by the National House of Public Pensions, to the Romanian Post”, the Ministry of Labor announced on Monday.
According to the institution, three installments were paid, as follows:
tranche I, representing 50% of the total amount, were transferred on Thursday, April 25;
tranches II and III were transferred on Friday, April 26.

The government decided, on Thursday, that the pensions related to the month of May are paid before the Easter holidays, and the National Public Pensions House will transfer the money until April 30 to the Romanian Post Office and banks.
The total value of pensions amounts to 9,331,399 thousand lei.
