At the county level, as informed by IȘJ Constanța, 2,786 teaching positions are available for occupation for an indefinite or determined period. Of these, 390 teaching positions/vacant chairs are for employment for an indefinite period (310 in urban areas and 80 in rural areas).
Also, there are 2,396 vacant/reserved teaching positions/chairs for fixed-term employment.
Chairs in great demand
One thing is certain, all the candidates want a job with viability for at least four years in the city of Constanța, and currently they are looking for, among others, a chemistry teacher at the “Traian” Theoretical High School, “Tomis” Technological High School, a professor of physical education at Secondary School no. 37 and at Secondary School no. 16 “Marin Ionescu Dobrogianu” and “Lucian Blaga” Theoretical High School, educators at “Perluțele Mării” kindergartens, no. 10, “Magic Rainbow”, Zubeyde Hanim”, physics teacher at “Decebal” Theoretical High School and at School no. 43 “Ferdinand”, computer science teacher at “Miron Costin”, “Gheorghe Duca” high schools, Palatul Copiilor, English teacher at “Ovidius” High School, “Lucian Blaga” High School, etc.
Registration starts next week
Between May 8-17, 2024, at the “Tomis” Constanța Technological High School, registration files will be submitted for participation in the national competition to fill vacant/reserved positions/chairs, which will take place on July 17, 2024.
According to the schedule made by IȘJ Constanța, on Wednesday, May 8, registrations are made for the positions of educators, Thursday, May 9 – for teachers, Friday, May 10 – Romanian language and literature, modern languages, Turkish mother tongue and Romani mother tongue, Monday , May 13 – mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, informatics-ICT, socio-human subjects, Tuesday, May 14 – history, geography, physical education, special education, Wednesday, May 15 – technical subjects, psychopedagogical counseling, and Thursday, May 16, returns will be resolved.
The verification and approval of the candidates’ files will be done by the County Commission for the organization and conduct of the contest between May 9 and 22, 2024, only for candidates who graduated before 2024.
The graduates of the 2024 promotion prove, at the time of registration, between May 8 and 17, by means of an original certificate, that they are in their final year of study and that they will take the graduation exam in 2024.
The written tenure test is scheduled for July 17, 2024, with the initial results to be made public on July 23.
