Message of strength and unity at the submission of the mayoral candidacy of Maria Petrariu

--

Today, April 27, Maria Petrariu, the mayor of the Vânători-Neamț commune, together with her team from the City Council, officially submitted their candidacies to the Electoral District Office.

The mayor Daniel Harpa, the PSD candidate for the position of president of the County Council, the deputy mayor Vasile Apopei, the PSD candidate for the position of mayor of Târgu-Neamț and Lucian Manole, the president of TSD Neamț, also participated in the event.

In her sixth term, Maria Petrariu comes before the inhabitants of the commune with a team for the Local Council made up of young entrepreneurs, IT-ists, economists, teachers, farmers.

As the mayor stated, the current team from the City Council wanted to combine the energy of youth, the desire for involvement and new administrative approaches, with experience and wisdom.

“Vânători-Neamț commune needs continuity and stability”

Daniel Harpa, the PSD candidate for the position of president of the Neamț County Council, said: “The achievements and experience of the mayor are the arguments for which she will receive the votes of the commune’s inhabitants in the June 9 elections. I know that the mayor has some soul projects that she wants to complete, including the school campus. I assure the citizens of the commune that this project will be completed and I will support the mayor in this endeavor. And as the future president of the Neamț County Council, I will support Vânători commune, in everything that means projects and investments. And his new team from the City Council gives me the guarantee that the future of this beautiful municipality with capable people is in good hands. I admire the mayor for the love and strength with which she gets involved in the town hall, I appreciate her for the respect and love she has for the hunters, and her human and managerial qualities are indisputable. While Vânători commune has gas, water, canal, road infrastructure, there are cities and many communes in the county and in the country that do not have something like that. And that is the merit of the mayor. Hunters are lucky to have such a capable mayor. The commune of Vânători-Neamț still needs continuity and stability, especially in the current social, political and economic context in which Europe and implicitly Romania is“.

Mayor Maria Petrariu wanted to make a few clarifications: “Even though it shouldn’t have happened, given that I’ve been mayor in office for several years, today, I still had emotions. It was an emotionally charged day for many reasons. The trust and support given to me by the residents of our commune, as well as the support of my team and my colleagues in the town hall, confirmed to me once again that my work during these years was not in vain. But I could not have achieved much for the commune without the support of my colleagues in the town hall, without the support of my team of local councilors and without the moral support of the residents of our town. There were years with many challenges, with many problems encountered, but in which, with the help of the good God and many good people around me, we managed to carry out the missions assigned to us by the hunters. For the next four years, I set out to complete several projects, some ongoing, others in the implementation phase. The people of the commune know what kind of person I am, I will not come with promises, nor with malice towards other candidates. The residents of our commune need it in fact, they need a mayor who can give them confidence, certainties, guarantees, unity and harmony. So may the good God help us!”.

Among the future large-scale projects that are particularly necessary for the community of Vânători-Neamț commune, there is the project of expanding the water supply catchment for the villages of Lunca and Nemțișor; the project regarding the construction of a sports infrastructure by building a sports hall and a sports field in the area of the school campus; the project regarding the establishment of a minimum of 10 km of cycle paths, but also other projects of a smaller scale, such as the construction of a concrete and fenced platform, for waste generated from households (branches, grass or rubble); the realization of several activities dedicated to the young people of the commune, and the establishment of a Local Council company is being considered, after the completion of the projects intended for sports and recreational activities (creating in this way also jobs for the inhabitants of the commune).
