The firefighters from Mehedin were requested to intervene in a road accident between two cars, in the municipality of Drobeta Turnu Severin. The accident occurred at the intersection of Mareșal Averescu and George Coșbuc streets.
At the scene of the event, a special fire truck equipped with the first aid mode, as well as a SAJ crew, was urgently mobilized.
Until rescuers arrived, Plt. adj. Tănasie Horațiu, in his free time, immediately jumped to help the drivers. He checked the condition of the victim and disconnected the terminals of a car.
Following the accident, there was a victim, conscious and cooperative, who was transported to the hospital by the EMS crew.
Firefighters ensured fire protection measures at the scene.
