Unusual accident in Scheiu de Jos, Ludeşti commune.
A 57-year-old woman, who was walking on the side of the road, was injured by a wheel detached from a car.
The incident occurred on a curve. The driver, 30 years old, from the locality, would have lost control of the steering wheel, and the car would have gone into balance.
“The police officers of the Găesti City Police were alerted to the fact that there was a road accident with victims.
After going to the scene, respectively on the county road 702L, and from the first investigations carried out, the police found that a 30-year-old man from Scheiu de Jos, while allegedly driving a car, inside the town, in the direction Scheiu de Jos – Hulubești, allegedly lost control over the direction of travel in a curve, at which point one of the wheels of the car came off and injured a 57-year-old woman from Scheiu de Jos, who was traveling as a pedestrian.
The woman was slightly injured and was transported to the hospital for further investigation.
The policemen are continuing the investigations to accurately establish all the circumstances of the road accident”, stated the Dâmboviţa Police.
