A tragic road accident happened, this morning, in Sadova commune.
A car driven by a 75-year-old man, from Rojişte commune, on DN 55, in Sadova, towards Bechet, allegedly entered the opposite direction of travel, for reasons to be determined following the investigations, colliding with a car driven by a 25-year-old man from Bechet.
For the intervention and provision of medical aid, a water truck, a truck transporting people and multiple victims, a TIM ambulance, a medical first aid crew and three SAJ crews went to the scene.
Unfortunately, the 75-year-old driver died. The other driver and three other people in his car, as well as a woman in the car driven by the 75-year-old man, required medical attention.
The young driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.
In the case, the police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crimes of culpable homicide and culpable bodily injury, and investigations are continuing to establish the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.
