The “masseur” qualification course, with qualification level 4, was addressed to high school graduates with a baccalaureate diploma. His program included 1080 hours of training. Of these, 360 hours were dedicated to theory, and 720 hours to practice.

The course lasted 27 weeks. Of the preparation trainer Pop Simion, therapist in complementary and alternative therapies, took care of the theoretical and practical training of the students.

“At the graduation exam, the theoretical test counted in a written, grid-type paper. The practical test consisted in the execution of a certain type of massage, followed by the presentation and argumentation of the performed operation“, the AJOFM representatives sent.

Among the skills acquired after graduating from this program are:

• Planning massage sessions, Preparing the cabinet for massage;
• Application of lymphatic drainage, Application of reflexogenic massage;
• Application of somatic massage; Application of therapeutic massage;
• Self-preparation for performing massages; Establishing massage techniques and forms.
