The singer and composer Mihai Mărgineanu gave a not exactly flattering description of the Vama Veche resort and the teenagers who populate it on mini-vacation. After seeing “slutty” girls and “boys with interesting male pretensions”, Mărgineanu asked: “Guys, do you know how your children are doing?”.
The artist went to the seaside with his family, but also for a concert. He declares himself shocked by what he discovered, as Adevărul.ro notes.
“Baths of people… in addition to the caste of carpenters, concrete blacksmiths and cemetery diggers, it was full of high school students! Without parents! Vama Veche is suffocated by shaorms and pancakes, reggaetons and chills with bass below 50 Hz, but also by 14-15-16-17-year-old girls, all wearing the same make-up and presenting their verbal tic “gender” in most sentences and according to each subject, many of them being drunk (oh… God forbid!) riding on the bars at Semafor or Mandala or Molotov Facebook.
The singer also talked about the attitudes and styles of teenagers. “Boys with interesting male pretensions (… ) but at one point it occurred to me to dress one who was in a “tank top” at 12 degrees outside, so the child wouldn’t catch a cold! -I realized that the standard of living of the common man has increased. Otherwise, how can a 17-year-old boy drink whiskey straight from the bottle? Or how can a 19-year-old girl come to the beach with a brand new Mini , which costs as much as six of her kidneys? (not mine, because no one buys mine anymore!), he also specified in his post.
Mărgineanu ended with a message for parents: “Has the world lowered the level of quality below sea level? So, for those of you parents who think you’re open-minded, or brag that your kids are a hottie, proud to have matured before their time, I have a question you don’t have to answer me: Well, do you know how your children are doing?”.
Adevărul.ro writes that the Vama Veche resort is one of the most crowded during this mini-vacation.
